Bagoré Bathily is 47-year-old, married and father of 2 daughters.
After his baccalaureate in Senegal he went to Belgium to study veterinary medicine. He worked as veterinarian in Europe for 2 years, then spent 1 year in a Mauritanian NGO.
In 2006, he founded “La Laiterie du Berger” with the purpose to link traditional milk producers with the cities’ growing demand for dairy products. Today the company is one of the largest player in it’s market, and the first certified B Corp in Senegal.
Bagoré considers social entrepreneurship as a new efficient tool to face social and economic development challenges in a sustainable way, in Africa.
